There is no season for the cyclists for a trip. I have seen people planning their cycling trip in hot summers, chilling winters and even on the springs when the weather remains calm. Cycling is a passion and it never wait for the right weather, the only thing governs it, is the mood of the biker.

In the modern market we have all kinds of bike available according to the requirement. We have racing bikes, mountain bikes, BMX, ATB (All Terrain Bike), utility bicycles, geared bicycles, touring bikes with or without gears and many more. While going for a trip I have seen most of the bikers choose the touring bicycles with shaft gears. These are easy to ride, easy to carry the baggage and water and the tires are strong with a nice grip.

One of the biggest problems in a biking trip is the tire. You need to know how to take care of the tires of your bike and how to repair them in case of a puncture if you are not using the solid ones. The most neglect parts of your bicycle are the tires but they are mostly neglected. One needs to take good care of them for a safer trip.

A biker should always check the pressure of the tires and inspect them properly before the trip. Always carry the tool kit along and learn to repair the tires in case they go flat in the middle of the trip.
